Purpose of Collecting Personal Data
Your data is collected and stored for the following purposes:
- Name and email address: Used to send newsletters, commercial emails, and retargeting for Facebook ads. Only data obtained through free downloads are used, not data from contact or quote request forms.
- Name, email, website, and phone/Skype address: Used to create quotes. This information is stored in my mailbox for up to 5 years.
- Contact form data: Used to respond to your inquiries.
- Name, email, and physical address: Used to create invoices for purchased services.
By providing this data, you consent to its use for the aforementioned purposes. Some of this data is also necessary for contract execution if services need to be performed for you.
Data Sharing
Mailing Provider: Your data is stored on servers of mailing providers such as AttractWell and Sendfox, which are based in the United States. Data transfers are compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework.
Retargeting: Data obtained from free downloads may be shared with Facebook for advertising purposes. Facebook may also transfer data to the United States, compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework.
Other Third Parties: Companies such as Typeform, my accountant, web host, and virtual assistant may have access to your data. All have data processing agreements in place to ensure your data is protected.
Data Security
We have implemented appropriate technical measures, including SSL encryption, to protect your personal data from loss or unlawful processing. These measures ensure a security level appropriate to the data we process.
Cookies

11. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
12. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?
In Short: Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the 'Shine The Light' law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. Verification process
Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have the information in our system. These verification efforts require us to ask you to provide information so that we can match it with information you have previously provided us. For instance, depending on the type of request you submit, we may ask you to provide certain information so that we can match the information you provide with the information we already have on file, or we may contact you through a communication method (e.g. phone or email) that you have previously provided to us. We may also use other verification methods as the circumstances dictate.
